Update #5 EI appeal

Last Monday I was in Courtenay to argue the group “EI holiday pay in advance appeal” in front of the EI umpire. It was me on one side and a lawyer on the other. Only time will tell who wins this round, but I’m betting on the lawyer. The umpire has promised a decision between 60 and 90 days.

  1. Good day Dan
Who is the lawyer and what odds are you offering. Is there an appeal for all such things?

    • Hi Brian
Sorry not offering odds. I believe there is another level of appeal if this goes bad.

    • Look at the archives of prior updates.

      • I already did. Does this mean we will get our weeks repaid or will we just get our correct amount of weeks charged against our EI? I have 6 weeks holidays but got dinged for 7 weeks of EI
